Ronald Clive Earle

Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Sandra (Rodney) Rogers, Karen (Scott) Reber, and David (Darlene); grandchildren, Jacob (Laurie), Emily (Nick), Graham (Kara), Brenna, Kelsie, Luke (Brandon), Spencer and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Lewin and Boden; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Ron Earle was born on September 28, 1938, in Buffalo, NY, to Virginia Mae Anderson and Clive Charles Earle, Jr. His loving grandparents were Anna Peterson and Edwin Anderson, and Louise Feiler and Clive Charles Earle, Sr. Growing up, Ron was active in his church, DeMolay and Boy Scouts, he was even an Eagle Scout. Ron was on the swim team and football team in high school and graduated from West Seneca High School in 1956 as Vice President of his class. Ron met Beverly Linda Black in elementary school and eventually invited her to the Junior Prom; the rest is history. They were married on August 22, 1959. Ron and Bev moved to East Lansing, Michigan for school and Ron graduated from Michigan State University. A job opportunity brought them to Rochester where Ron worked as a construction/building engineer at Matthews and Fields, then Caldwell and Cook, Rochester Telephone, and Energy Enterprises, Inc. Ron was the general contractor for their current home and did much of the finish work. Due to his love of learning, Ron later earned his MBA at RIT. Ron loved cars, music, football, the Buffalo Bills, games, travel, and trivia. However, what he loved most was being with his family. He cherished his wife Beverly and three children, Sandra, Karen, and David, their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses, and great-grandchildren. They were blessed to have him as a husband, dad, and Poppa. Ron was a great mentor and leader of his family. Ron was also a man of faith. His strength and wisdom were a source of comfort to many. Ron was a man of many talents. He was an exceptional athlete, playing many sports, competing in racquetball for years and swimming every day until months before his passing. He also liked to share about when he played lacrosse against Jim Brown in college. In addition, he was a logical thinker and mathematician, which made him great at trivia and more importantly an exceptional homework coach. Ron will be greatly missed for his family prayers, his wisdom, and his wit. Many have mentioned his smile, kindness, gentleness, and strength. We are grateful for the time we had with you. Love you always. Family and friends may call from 2-3pm on Saturday, May 13th at Pearce Memorial Church, 4322 Buffalo Rd. N. Chili, NY 14514. Service to follow at 3pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
