Sunday, September 25, 2022 at age 55. Predeceased by her dad, Moe Bowie. Survived by her loving husband, Joseph; children, Alex and Olivia Barone; mother, MaryLou Bowie; brother, John (Jonelle) Sullivan; aunt, JoAnne Calabro; uncles, Jim Calabro and Larry Bloom; brother John (Jonelle) children, Marylou; grandchildren, Courtney, Jordan, Brittany, Justin and Kylie. AnnMarie’s husband Joe’s family is his predeceased father, Donald (Dick) Barone; mother, Patricia Barone; sisters, Nancy Powers, Rose (Steve) Crist, Victoria (Dave) Graham; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Born July 20th, 1967, it’s been known that AnnMarie had a long health fight from the day she was born and lived for many years beyond the expectations of her medical doctors. AnnMarie knew how to take care of her own health and how to heal her body if something would not appear right! She was vigilant to repair her body as best as she knew how. She was fully aware of advocating for herself even after all the many days stay at her recent and final time at Unity Hospital. This young lady battled multiple ONE-IN-A-MILLION rare conditions!! Who does that!! Only a person like AnnMarie that’s who! She’s a FIGHTER and with all her STRENGTH she FOUGHT to the very end with her health battles. AnnMarie was called Me-Me from way in the beginning because her brother John couldn’t say her name he called her Me-Me and it carried on into high school for most people that knew her! She was a bright light with a beautiful smile that filled the room wherever she was. Along with her golden hair tones, bright blue eyes, and minimal makeup as she was a true natural beauty from within. Her favorite color is blue. AnnMarie received an Associate of Occupational Studies from Rochester Business Institute for Paraprofessional Accounting in July 1998. She held several accounting positions with corporations like Via Health-Rochester General Medical Group where she met two of Joe’s cousins many years before Joe and AnnMarie met themselves together! She also worked for ACM Laboratory, Rochester Drug Cooperative (RDC), Rochester Acoustical Corporation, ARC of Genesee Orleans, ARC of Monroe County, and most recently with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester as an Accounts Receivable Manager. With AnnMarie’s outgoing and pleasant personality, she was able to make many work friends wherever she went that she now calls most -her family and many of you are here today! AnnMarie was introduced to Joe by his cousin in early 2000’s. They courted many years and were married in on infinity day of August 08, 2008 (08-08-08). They had a beautiful wedding at their home on Sweden-Walker Rd outdoors. It was a country like setting with a double rainbow that blessed them that day under the handmade arches Joe made. Together they worked to raise two teenagers Alex and Olivia. She loved them unconditionally as if they were her own children. She took genuine care in raising them. They had a farm which included horses for Olivia and even some chickens that one of them was called Chicken-Parm! No lie. Joe and AnnMarie really had a forever love! No denying they were meant to be together through the thick and thin that life throws at you. Joe Barone was deeply in Love with his wife and the same is true for AnnMarie as she professed her Love for Joe. For AnnMarie family always came first along with her love of her 3 dogs (Shianne, Miles & Rocky) and cat (CoCo). Some of AnnMarie’s passed on dogs were Tieka, Princess, Reba & Mae. She really loved her German Shepard breed-her animals were like her kids. They had a part of everything to do with her life outside and inside the house perimeters! AnnMarie also loved camping -they both had a love for the outdoors- which included bonfires, open fire pit meals, and she’s known famously for making her special secret recipe of chocolate chip cookies for everyone to enjoy as she brought them to gatherings. Never saw her angry with anyone. • AnnMarie was a warrior who braved life challenges to the end, a hero in many ways. • never complained about her own sickness • always there to perk you up when you were having a bad day • Such a strong beautiful person inside and out. • AnnMarie made such an impact on my life just by being her • AnnMarie was a shining light. • AnnMarie was kind and focused on others rather than herself. • AnnMarie loved and inspired love in the people around her. • AnnMarie had the biggest heart and the kindest soul. • kindest and most warm-hearted person • AnnMarie was a true Gem and always made everyone around her feel like she was part of the family. She had a one-of-a-kind hug that you couldn't wait to receive that truly embodied the love in her heart to anyone she touched. • Her smile was also one of a kind and was ALWAYS there even when she was not feeling well, which was most of the time. • She always put others first, but most of all she loved her family and friends unconditionally. She was the most forgiving person you would ever meet and never held a grudge, but just kept loving. She was a true example of what Jesus would like all of us to be and now for sure is one of His Angels. • She loved and was kind to all living creatures as well, she loved all animals and showed kindness and compassion to all of them. She would have adopted every single animal that needed a home if it was possible. • She will be missed EVERY SINGLE DAY! Special Intentions Message from her husband Joe -Don't take life for granted, life is short. My wife and I lived by those words. Tomorrow is not promised, we fought so hard for each day. Your fight is over my love, You fought harder than anyone I know. I will love you forever, till we meet again my sweet Maria. I was blessed to be in your presence. The family wants you all to know it’s okay for us to grieve her great loss and until we meet AnnMarie again, may she rest in paradise and rest in peace in the Lord's loving arms forever.
