Timothy J. Holler Jr.
June 15, 1980 - April 9, 2022
It is with unspeakable sadness and broken hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved son, brother, uncle, and grandson, Timothy Jon Holler Jr, who passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the age of 41. TJ was born on June 15, 1980. As a child, he loved playing school, acted in several school plays, and participated in the fire explorer program. He graduated from Gates Chili High School in 1998, went on to Monroe Community College where he studied Criminal Justice, and graduated from SUNY Brockport on the Dean's list with a bachelors degree in in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He was a compassionate and kind man and an advocate for those in need. Tim devoted his professional life to serving the community through his work at the Legal Aid Society, Empire Justice Center, and AIDS Rochester. Throughout his career, he assisted clients facing eviction and provided support and services to community members in need. These experiences ultimately led him to One Star Foundation to make an impact on his new community in Austin, Texas. TJ was adventurous and always willing and excited to try new things. He loved to travel and certainly enjoyed the finer things in life: dining out, shopping, and designer clothes, as well as the simple things: a good laugh shared with a friend or relative and the companionship of his pets. Tim was a lifelong animal lover, his dog “Rizzo” and cat “Secrets” were his loyal companions. Tim’s love for his family, especially his nieces, was a love like no other. He had a special and unbreakable relationship with his sister and father. Tim would call his grandmother every Sunday, even as an adult. TJ was a talented writer and gave a heartfelt and unforgettable speech when he stood up as the best man in his fathers wedding. He was kind and thoughtful. His infectious laugh and beautiful smile left an indelible mark on everyone. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all that knew him. Predeceased by his grandfather, Marvin Holler Sr. and uncle, Wayne Holler. Survived by his father, Timothy J. Sr. (Tracy); mother, Marjorie Kucy; sister, Shannon (Andrew) Rose; brother, Dylan nieces, EmmaMarie, Liliana and Zoey; grandmother, Patricia Holler; and many aunts, uncles, and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to call at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home Saturday, April 23rd from 12-2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tim's name may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450.
