Thirza A. Caufield (Lynd) Fairport - January 24, 2021. Peacefully at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel E. Caufield; brothers John, Henry, and Michael Lynd. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Lynd; her children, John D. Caufield (Susan Walz), Donna Malucci (David), Karen Polidori (Mauro) and Daniel K. Caufield (Darlene Guarino grandchildren, Daniel P., Sean, and Brendan Caufield, Kaitlyn Malucci, Megan and Nicholas Polidori; many nieces and nephews. Thirza was known for her loving dedication and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren; she was the matriarch of our family. Thirza's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 28 at 10am at St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church 3010 Chili Avenue, with interment at St. Pius Cemetery, immediately following the funeral mass. Thirza's family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the staff of Creekstone Memory Care and Highland Hospital (West 7) for their compassionate and exceptional care.
