Joseph "Joe" Cosentino GATES: Died on November 30, 2018. He was born on February 9, 1943, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. He is predeceased by his wife Agnes Kyte, sister Theresa Moreno and nephew Vincent Moreno. He is survived by his five nieces, Ersilia Moreno of Florida, Tracy Moreno of Pennsylvania, Nina (Ken) MacLeay of California, Yolie Moreno of Connecticut, Gia (Alessandra Cozzi) Moreno of New York and loving service dog Pixie. Also surviving are 7 great nephews and nieces, Rasheed Shihada, Vincenza Hamad, Caroline and Isabella Oehlerich, Max and Spencer MacLeay, and Lily Moreno-Sheridan, all of whom he loved dearly. Joe was a veteran who dedicated himself to serving his community. He was the Past Grand Knight of St. Jude the Apostle Council, Past Faithful Navigator and Color Corp. Member of John W. Steger Assembly and CCD teacher at St. Jude's Church. He was also a member of the Gate's Senior Citizens Club #3, St. Jude's Men's Club and Choir. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Monday, January 7, 2018 at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pawsitive For Heros: a service dog program for veterans, at wnyheros.org or 8205 Main St., Suite 1, Williamsville, NY, 14221.
