Carolyn J. Jackson Chili - Thursday, January 21, 2021. Predeceased by brother, Wade Ridenour. Survived by her husband, Sowers "Sy" Jackson; children, Greg Damico (Olivia Allen) and Mark Damico (Michael Bernardgrandchildren, Tony, Olivia, Colette and Ava; siblings, Jackie (Connie) and Wanda (Dave). Carolyn Jackson is also survived by stepchildren Brett Jackson (Liz), Todd Jackson, Tiara Jackson (Al), Grandchildren Ellissa, Megan, Sam and Jordan. Nieces and nephews Kim, Cassie, Keena, Mike, Marti, Mandi, Pam, and Rhonda. Great nieces and nephews Noah, Keeliegh, Allie, Brady, Campbell, Bently and Lakin, ex-husband Don, sister-in-law Rita and some of her very best friends Sandy, Brenda, Mary, Lynda, and Roseanne. Carolyn was described by so many as a kind, fun, loving, selfless, giving, caring and compassionate "angel on earth." She was the most incredible mother and the most amazing aunt, sister, grandmother, wife, mother-in-law, and friend to so many. She was always there to listen and provide guidance and love... whatever you needed. She loved so many people genuinely and had a way of knowing and giving us all exactly what we needed. A true angel got her wings Thursday. Now you can sit back in God's love and enjoy all your family and friends that have gone before you, drink as much Coca-Cola as you like, have your favorite birthday cake from Wegmans...chocolate, white butter cream frostings, extra flowers with no sprinkles. You can now continue watching your TV favorites on Bravo, and you and Mamaw can watch Young and the Restless together again like when you were a girl. Mom, it is so hard to say goodbye, but we know you're finally out of pain and you can rest easy. We love you beyond words and thank God for lending you to us for 76 years. We wanted more but are beyond blessed that God chose you for our mother. It is hard to imagine life without you and you will be forever missed. We know you will continue to watch over us. Rest now our sweet, beautiful mother! Friends may call Tuesday 2-4PM at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
